House where Jean-Jacques Rousseau lived and the "dungeon" where he wrote include "The Social Contract", "The Emile", "Letter from Alembert," "The New Heloise".

Site dear to the Impressionists (Cézanne, Daubigny, Gauguin, Pissarro, Renoir ...) and Vincent Van Gogh lived the last two months of his life, during which he produced about 70 paintings.
